Jeffrey Jacobs is a retired law enforcement veteran with over 40 years of dedicated service in public safety. Rising through the ranks to become Public Safety Chief in City of Miami, Florida, Mr. Jacobs led critical operations, emergency response teams, and community policing initiatives that protected millions of residents.
His career spans tactical operations, officer training, community outreach, and crisis management. As Public Safety Chief, he oversaw departments responsible for law enforcement, fire rescue, and emergency management — earning recognition for his leadership during some of South Florida's most challenging moments.
Today, Chief Jacobs channels that wealth of experience into J. Jacobs Public Safety Enterprise, where he personally trains and mentors students in life-saving skills, responsible firearms handling, and safe driving practices. His mission is simple: empower every individual with the knowledge and confidence to protect themselves and their communities.

After a decade of exemplary service, Officer Jacobs earned promotion to senior Narcotics Detective, taking on leadership responsibilities in community policing, tactical narcotics operations, and officer training programs.
